The last deliberated God (s)‎ in D. H. Lawrence's last poems

One of the significant issues in the last decade of David Herbert Lawrence's life is the invalidity, as he thinks, of belief in God/gods1, according to the conceptions of the modern religions like Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

This paper aims to show the different ideologies between the old and the new concepts of G/god according to what is offered by D.

H.

Lawrence's Last Poems2.

Lawrence changed his thinking about the concept of God in the last decade of his life and this led Lawrence to connect with more material god, a god who can talk with him for example, a god who can feel him, see him, who can save him from his miserable life, and an applicable to this god.

So, in the Last Poems he raised this matter.

The poems of god in the Last Poems suggest many sorts of god(s) that show how Lawrence sometimes creates a god, and sometimes borrows the meaning of god from other religions and cultures like the Greek, but all of these gods end with the same ultimate purpose, the reality of being lived with and the ability to touch his deliberated god.
