The study of wells in Mecca in Islam of important topics being was influential in the lives of people in Mecca in particular and in the Arabian Peninsula in general, was chosen as the subject for the big impact on the stability of the people of Mecca and the composition of their city, despite the lack of caved in and the lack of water year, which is an extension to the pits before Islam, the mismatch has remained an important source such as the well of Zamzam, including the buried and then re-excavated again in eras consecutive ones dug the time of the Umayyad and Abbasid Caliphate, and the proliferation of drilling wells to whom she has the potential to provide the requirements of their living from the water, and Her Highness also their names, and go dig wells to the loss of the implants it is often called the name of the position you dig the well and extended drilling wells to places of trade routes, and longer wells wealth and capital when the ancient Arabs until it became the reason for the emergence of cities and the expansion and Tfnyha when dry, even fought some tribes on wells wer common,includingirrigation,livestock .

In this study, a comprehensive inventory of each of wells drilled in Mecca in Islam to the end of the Caliphate Abbasid, was arranged by presented than indicated by the historical sources and wrote Albuldanyen geographical as well as in close proximity to Mecca and took into account the distribution of wells in terms of geography and economic impacts on the people of Mecca were relying in this study on the historical sources in documenting historical events relating to each well, as well as the use of books Maghazi and walk as well as talk that wrote the annotations were Agntna information on wells ignorance, not to mention the use of books countries to determine the geographic locations of wells and their locations and identify the names Hafera wells, was the use of language dictionaries in the definition of certain terms of language pertaining to the wells.
