Abstract EN

The study of the effect of the petroleum sector on some indicators and variables of the Algerian macroeconomic for the period from 2000 to 2015, where to study the relations between oil prices and macroeconomic variables were used some regression models (simple linear regression models, multiple regression models , And VAR models) .

The study concluded that the petroleum sector has a role and importance in the development process of the country and that there is a significant indication of the oil price index on the Algerian macroeconomic variables.
