Abstract EN

(Al-Istiqaq) book for Ibn Duraid is an important reference for any researcher in Media Study and its language derivations.

This study is concerned by the book subject especially the diminutive banners names, due to the change that caused by this diminutive in vocalization and meaning.

The research aimed to collect these banners in a wordbook that ordered according to the indicative rights, and titled: “the indicative wordbook for the diminutive banners names in AlIstiqaq Book for Ibn Duraid”.

The most important results of this study: - All names are mentioned on famous diminutive structure in Arabic, and the ost diminuend names are from triple origins; moreover, the most diminuend names were for men not for women.
