درجة ممارسة معلمي التربية الإسلامية و الدراسات الاجتماعية قيم المواطنة في التفاعل الصفي من وجهة نظر المشرفين التربويين في سلطنة عُمان

Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the degree of practice by Islamic education teachers and social studiesteachers,as the values of citizenship in the classroom interaction from the viewpoint of the supervisors, in addition to knowing the impact of the variables of specialization and gender.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used the descriptive approach.A questionnaire of (30) items was prepared.Proving reliability and validityof the study tool and stability it has been applied to the study sample consisting of (75)male and female supervisors of the Islamic education and social studies in the governorates of North Batinahand South Batinah Sultanate of Omanm, for the academic year (2013/2014).

The study results haveshown that the degree of the practice by Islamic education and social studies teachers of the values of citizenship in the classroom interaction was mean in allquestionnaireitems, where the arithmetic mean of the supervisors of Islamic Education was (2.65), and the (2.90)for the Social Studies supervisors, and the results have also shown the absence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between males and females.

The findings also revealed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) between the Islamic Education and Social Studies supervisors relivent to specialization.

The researchers recommended the need to implement training programs and workshops and training programs for teachers to teach the values of citizenship through the use of modern teaching methods.

The study also presented a set of proposals for further future studies.
