Abstract EN

This research deals with the grammarians’ doctrines in arguing using the prophet’s hadith focusing on Shatibi s point of view and that of Abou hayan al andaloussi through making a comparison between them.

The comparative study showed that they are almost compatible and they don’t have a big deference which means that they are one doctrine and not two independent ones.

This research found that the grammarians are split into two groups on the issue of arguing with the prophet’s hadith.

There are those who permit the argument without conditions and those who permit it with conditions.

This result contradicts the fact that the grammarians’ attitudes are of three doctrines: • permissive without conditions.

• permissive with conditions.

• And absolute non-permissive.

• And absolute non- permissive .
