Abstract EN

Civil protections amongst the jobs in which its occupants are exposed to several work accidents taking into account its particularity and distinguished nature.

For this reason, the present study aims at figuring out sources of work accidents among civil protection workers.

In order to achieve the objectives of the present study, the researchers conducted a survey about the reasons of occupational accidents among civil protection workers.

The survey focused on four aspects:(1) psychological reasons, (2) occupational reasons, (2) safety reasons, and (4) ergonomic cones.

The survey has been carried out on one hundred- and- five of civil defense agents who were chosen for the aforementioned purpose.

The results showed that there are many reasons behind work-related-accidents among civil defense workers: the psychological reasons are firstly stated, and, then, followed by professional and safety.

The ergonomics reasons come at last although there was divergence about the factors behind the same reasons.
