Abstract EN

This study aims to identify UAE strategy in developing the manufacturing industry in order to achieve economic diversification.

We have concluded to a set of results achieved by the UAE in diversifying its economy outside oil, based on a number of indicators, the most important of which are: Diversification of GDP and Diversification of exports.

In addition, we have noticed the important role played by manufacturing industry in achieving diversification.

This success is basically due to the State's insistence on diversifying sources of income from a side, andfrom the other side; to the clear long-term strategy concerning the development of the industrial sector as well as insuring its contribution in economic diversification.
