This research deals with populism phenomenon That had emerged during the Abbasid era.

Populism represents a sort of ideological and religious struggle between the Arabs and non – Arabs especially the Persians .the research also presents the stages and reasons that helped populism emerge as well as illustrations about the struggle between the poet Bashar ben bord and the writer el djahid whose writings were a reaction to the untruths of that tribe.
