English Abstract

The novel is defined in social perception as the biography of a person who includes the biography of other people.

It is the words of a human being or the words of a person about a person who does not believe in certainty and absolute and does not want to know them because of the relation of their meanings to theology.

According to this conception, I will read the biography of “Asuf”, the main personality in the novel “NAZIF AL-HAJAR” (The Bleeding of the Stone) of the Libyan writer Ibrahim al-Kony, in connection with the personality of Cain, who was an unlucky man before his birth.

"The father died by a knife stab when his mother was pregnant by him.

A week after, his mother died because a snake’s bite." This paper does not break the link between the two biographies of the two personalities, but confirms the concept of the narrative concept of the novel in a small and isolated desert society.
