Abstract EN

This study aimed to analyze the impact of decision support systems on strategic flexibility in Jordanian telecom companies; a questionnaire was developed to collect and distribute primary data to 240 staff who formed the study sample, SPSS program was used to analyze multiple variance, regression, and progressive multiple regression.

The study found a statistically significant impact of decision support systems in its dimensions (data management system, model base management system, knowledge management system, and the user interface system) on the strategic flexibility of its dimensions (market flexibility, flexibility of production, flexibility of capabilities) in the Jordanian telecom companies.

This study recommended that the management of telecommunications companies must focus and direct their attention to reviewing and updating the programs which they manage, and control the process of storage and retrieval of data.

This study also recommended that the attention of researchers should focus to further studies of using the artificial intelligence and its relationship to customer satisfaction.
