During the last couple of years, the global market for Islamic Sukuk has seen considerable interest and development, as a funding source whose terms and structures comply with the Shari'a law.

Attentions have also turned towards this significant and effective financial product in the development of finance that preserves the balance pyramid between the real-world economics and the financial economics, not only on an Islamic world level, but also on a global level.

According to studies, The size of total Sukuk issued is expected to grow, on a global level, to $227 billion by 2019, and to grow to $250 billion by 2020.

This paper, however, highlights Sukuk as an Islamic financial instrument in achieving the profitability and development simultaneously.

This paper is divided into six sections, besides a section for findings and recommendations.
