Abstract EN

The current study aimed to evaluate Child’s Guest house program in the Jordanian Women’s Union (JWU) through identifying the extent of achieving program objective, itsnature and also studying the activities of the program which provided to the beneficiaries, as well as examine the program impact on the children and the obstacles that have been facing the beneficiaries during the supervised visitations inside child’s guest house.

The study used the social survey approach to achieve its objective.As for the study’s population, it consisted of all the separated or divorced parents (mothers and fathers) and beneficiaries from the child’s guest house program in Jordanian Women’s Union (JWU).

A random study sample consisting of (66) parents were taken from the study population.

The current study concluded that the child’s guest house program in the Jordanian women’s Union (JWU) achieved its objectives in a high degree from the parent's perspective with mean of (3.49) with importance percentage %87.

And the mean for the program services were provided to separated or divorced parents was (4.42), the study also showed that the mean for the work nature of the program responsible was (4.57), and the program appropriateness for the beneficiary child mean was (3.81), furthermore, the work nature for the social workers, psychologists and lawyers mean on respectively was 4.18, 4.41 and 4,31.

Also the extent to which children benefited from the programs offered mean was 4.67,the obstacles that facing the beneficiaries during visitations for children showed a moderate degree through having a mean of 2.68.As for the obstacles that faced the program it was represented in the lack of sufficient time for supervised visitations and its time doesn’t suit the parents and the child.
