Abstract EN

This study aimed at identifying the degree of psychological alienation and its relation to different variables among a sample of Palestinian refugees.

The sample consisted of (992) refugees in Gaza and Lebanon.

The researchers designed and applied a psychological alienation scale.

The findings indicated a low degree of psychological alienation among the sample as a whole, with no difference in the degree of alienation attributed to the variables of gender and educational level.

However, the findings showed a higher degree of alienation attributed to the variable of age group within people aged 25-26, the variable of place of residence among refugees in Gaza, and the variable of political affiliation within Fatah movement, who showed higher degrees of alienation compared to other political movements.
