Abstract EN
A Double Acceptance Sampling Plan (DASP) for the truncated life time tests is proposed assuming that the lifetime of a product follows a two-parameter Quasi Lindley (QL) distribution.
The zero and two failure schemes are mainly investigated.
The minimum sample sizes of the first and second samples are obtained to assert that the true mean life is no longer than the given life at the specified consumer's confidence level.
The operating characteristic values and the minimum ratios of the mean life to the fixed life are also studied.
The findings are significant in maintaining quality in any industry
