Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the attitudes of the female teachers of special education (pre- service and during- service) toward teaching sexual education topics for persons with intellectual disability.

In order to achieve the aims of this study, a questionnaire of the attitudes toward teaching sexual education topics for persons with intellectual disability were used to collect data from 269 female teachers (91 pre- service and 178 during- service).

The results indicated that the attitudes of the female teachers toward teaching sexual education were positive.

And there statistically significant differences between the female teachers in the attitudes due to the stage of the training (pre- service and during- service) to favor female teachers in the during-service.
