Abstract EN

The research aimed to detect the level of Psychological-alienation among die visually disabled students.

The study was conducted on a sample of (60) students: (30) males and (30) females studying at the Royal Blind Academy selected randomly.

A scale of the Psychological-alienation for die visually disabled, its validity and reliability were ensures.

Results revealed that the level of Psychological-alienation amon the visually disabled students was moderate.

There were statistically significant differences in die level of Psychological-alienation due to the gender to the favor of males, and due to the disability severity to the favor of die blind the dimensions of social isolation, disability and the nonsense of life, and to the favor of die visually disabled in die non-standardization and rebellion.

Differences were also significant due to the disability nature to the favor of the acquired disability, except in rebellion.

There w'ene no statistically significant differences due to the place of residence, with the exception of social isolation that was to the favor of the day stay.

The researcher recommended to conduct training and counseling programs to reduce die level of Psychological-alienation among the visually disabled.
