Abstract EN

The current study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of using cognitive conflict paradigm in science education to develop creative thinking and understanding the scientific concepts for the girl in intermediate school .

The semi experimental approach was used to investigate the independent variable suggested educational model based on the cognitive conflict) on the (creative thinking and understanding the scientific concepts).

The research sample was consist of (77)girls students - second grade intermediate school in the governorate of khamis Mushate .they were divided into two experimental groups .The first was experimental group consist of (40) girl students who studied th unit of human body parts with cognitive conflict sample .The other group was consisted of ( 37) girl students who studied the same unit with the usual way -(that is applied in schools) The researcher prepared two tools : creative thinking test ^scientific conception test ^and set them to apply.

The result of the study showed revealed that there is statically significant difference between the average score of the experimental group initial and late in the creative thinking and the science processes tests for improving the students performance .

The result also showed that the use of the balanced inquisition has a great influence statically in the developing of the creative thinking and science processes on the experimental students.

According to the results outcome the researcher recommend -suggestion and future researches was introduced.
