Abstract EN

The purpose of the present empirical study was to explore an effectiveness program based on activities for sensory integration to reduce symptoms autism.

The sample consisted of 16 autistic children taken from the specialized day care center at Al-Jouf Saudi Arabia ranged 6- 9 years old , and their intelligence ranged from (40-55) by Godard scale.

The study used Gilliam autism rating scale, and the inventory of sensory problems by the researcher, in addition to the training program used in the study by the researcher The results indicated that there were significant differences (0.05) between Pre and Post experimental group toward post group on the all sensory problem scores except of smelling problem, In addition, on the all scores of the Gilliam autism rating scale means improving children scores after participate the program sessions.

It was concluded that activities based on sensory integration to reduce symptoms autism were benefit.

The study included suggesting other studies.
