The purpose of the study is to the development of a unit according to aesthetic education and measuring its effect on improving social responsibility and civic behavior.

The researcher adopted the quasi-experimental approach.

To achieve this aim the researcher developed the following tools: a list of aesthetic education concepts, social responsibility scale and civic behavior scale then validity and reliability were checked.

The study was administrated on (117) male and female students; they were divided into four groups; two experimental groups, one for girls (31 students) and the other for boys totaling (29 students) and two control groups, one for girls totaling (26) students and one for boys totaling (31) students in the schooling year 2016/2017.

The findings of the study showed that there were significant statistical differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to the favor of the experimental group that studied through the developed unit compared with the traditional unit in all social responsibility domains.

There were no significant statistical differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to the effect of gender and interaction between them in social reusability domains.

Moreover, there were significant statistical differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to the favor of the experimental group that studied through the developed unit compared with the traditional unit in all civic behavior domains.

There were no significant statistical differences at the level of (0.05) attributed to the effect of gender and interaction between them in civic behavior domains.between the degree of application of governance and the effectiveness of administrative performance.
