Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree of Islamic values of citizenship among high school students in the District of Beni Obeid government schools from the standpoint of teachers.The study sample consisted of(239) teachers and the population was selected to be its sample.

survey tool Was built to measure the degree of practice under the rights and duties consisted of (45) items, divided into two areas, the rights (21) items, and duties (24) items, and the results showed that the Islamic values of citizenship in terms of rights were: (intellectual freedom, religious freedom, the Shura, justice, equality, responsibility, the right to education, the right to work), but with respect to citizenship values in the field of duties were: (the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, mastery of work, not to cheat, cooperation, good call and say Hasan, love home, represents a good example) .The results of the study,according to degree of practice in the field of rights came with a high degree of (4.08).

The results of the study in the field of duties is also a high degree of (3.96).

In light of these findings the researchers presented a set of recommendations that will hopefully be useful to achieve the Islamic concept of citizenship,in a sake to achieve harmony between thought and behavior.
