This study aimed to identify the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in the "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" district play their role in promoting the educational values among the secondary level students from the viewpoint of the students themselves.

It also aimed to study the effect of variables such as gender, place of residence, supervisory body, and study stream The study community constituted of all secondary level students (10,941 student), in the human sciences and scientific stream, in all schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area, in the year 2011/2012.

The sample of the study was randomly chosen by the stratified method; it consisted of (551) students with the percentage of (5%).

To achieve the objectives of this study, the researchers prepared a questionnaire which consisted of(45) paragraphs in three main areas, namely: the social values, the scientific cognitive values, and the aesthetic values The results of the study showed that the role of the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area in promoting the educational values among the secondary level students from the viewpoint of the students themselves was “medium" on the total score, with arithmetic average of (3.52.) The results also showed there were no statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the average degrees of response of the sample to the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area play their role in promoting the educational values due to the variable of gender.

However, the results showed the presence of statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) between the average degrees of response to the sample of the extent to which the headmasters of the schools in "Ramallah and Al-Bireh" area play their role in promoting the educational values due to.

The variable of the school stream favor for the human sciences stream, the variable of the supervisory body showed a favor for the government schools, while the variable of place of residence showed a favor for the villages
