Abstract EN

The current study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of a mobile learning environment based on the use of interactive infographic and then measuring its impact in developing the audio listening comprehension skills of the English students at the College of Education at Umm Al-Qura University.

The study used both descriptive and quasi-experimental designs.

The sample consisted of 76 students enrolled in the educational preparation program at the College of Education, Umm Al-Qura University and studying Methods of TEFL{2).

The sample was randomly divided into two groups: A control group consisting of 38 students, and an experimental group consisting of 38 students.

The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at ( a< 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the post-test at the levels of analysis, synthesis, evaluation, the achievement test as a total, and the listening comprehension skills.

The study has concluded with many recommendations, including the use of mobile education supported by infographic in the design of learning activities in different university courses.

Finally, the study concluded with a call for enriching the field of mobile education with more studies and research that support the characte ristics that can be provided using infographic.
