Abstract EN

Linguistic anthropology as practiced today is the understanding of the crucial role played by language in the constitution of society and its cultural representations.

In this perspective, linguistic anthropologists have investigated in the nature of language taking into account the social context and cultural aspects of the interaction.

Lexical items used in the wedding ceremony of the city Tlemcen pave the way to the emergence of the identity of its people, and therefore make them easily recognized among the other citizens of the country Algeria, just because language and culture go hand in hand.
