The Islamic Waqf has contributed in the past to the needs of education and the expenses of scientific research, as the Waqf in Islamic civilization ensured the expenses of science students and scientists.

Waqf libraries were established, the handwritten copy was provided to the student and the professor despite its scarcity and high price.

It then became a tradition that continues by the caliphs and scholars and even the general public.

At present, how can the Waqf be activated and play its role in enriching university libraries in Algeria? What mechanisms are proposed to achieve this?
