Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to identify the level of tribal fanaticism trait in Yarmouk university students, and its relationship to several variables such as cumulative average, major and academic achievement To achieve that, the study was conducted on a sample of (200) students in the faculty of education at Yarmouk university, and the measure of tribal fanaticism that consists of (33) articles was applied to them The statistical analysis of the means of dimensional comparisons, standard deviations, the analysis of Multi-variation trio, and the (scheffe) test showed that the level of tribal fanaticism trait at Yarmouk university students was of an average degree: that the mean of response on the total degree was (0.76).

The results showed differences of statistical significance in the level of tribal fanaticism trait in Yarmouk university students of (a =0.05) at the level of significance for cumulative average variable in favor of students with good cumulative average and below.

The results of the level of tribal fanaticism trait (a =0.05) also showed the presence of statistically significant differences at the level of significance in Yarmouk university students in relation with the study major, and in favor of the students whose major is children’s education.

The results also showed that there are no differences of statistical significance at the level of (a =0.05) for the level of tribal fanaticism trait in Yarmouk university students in relation to the variable of academic achievement.
