Abstract EN

The different enterprises in the world had learnt that the adoption of the Total Quality Management is the way to challenge and to acquire a competitiveness with an ensuring of the survival and continuity in the business climate.

This study aimed to examine the reality of the application of TQM principles in a sample of Economic enterprises at Relizane city.

We relied on the descriptive and analytical approach to this study.

Results of the study showed that the principles of total quality management are applied in the enterprises that constitute our sample; by the way, the use of TQM is not high.

This study resulted in a number of recommendations aimed at activating the practice of TQM in the Algerian enterprises.
