Most modern laws agreed on the seriousness of money laundering, including Algerian law crimes, despite the differences in regard to the methods which these crimes because of the different legislation and banking regulations from country to country on the one hand, because of the possibilities available to money launderers on the other.

This led to the need to pay special attention by the Algerian law in order to effectively these modern provide for criminal phenomenon, have resorted to the imposition of strict controls that will mitigate the phenomenon.

Although the procedures and mechanisms taken and set forth in the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing and control law, however, many obstacles stand in the way without effective control of this crime along the lines of the principle of banking secrecy, which is an obstacle, often without disclosing the related money laundering crimes of financial transactions
