Safe water is truly one of the economic, social and cultural rights , and an essential element of human life, health and dignity, nevertheless many people cannot have access tosafe drinking water and human use.

The international community has recognized that this crisis must be addressed and safe drinking water is within the human rights framework, this study highlights the general legal aspect of this right as a basis for its establishment and obligation.
