Abstract EN

The chosen subject of (The Restrictions on the authority of amendment the Federal Constitution) in a comparative study comes from the interesting in highlighting the amendment constitutions of federal states to take advantage of them to reconsider the restrictions stipulated by our Constitution and the tightening of these restrictions to preserve the constitution and to ensure respect for the law, especially during its amendment.

To illustrate these restrictions, we were addressed to the constitutions of a number of Western and Arab states, more over we explained the view of statement constitutional scholars that due to restrictions on the authority to amend the Federal Constitution based according to above the study have been addressed the Study in two demands, as well, as the introduction and conclusion, relying on research comparative approach.

The first requirement has been devoted to the study of the types of restrictions on the authority of amendment the Federal Constitution, while the second requirement has dealt with constitutional jurisprudence, Reviewing the position on the amendment restrictions.

We have reached in this study, that the constitution restriction are variety either those relating to timing constraints or those relating to in the federal state to another.
