Judicial Council according constitution of the Iraqi republic for the2005.this constitution has referred to necessary approval which includes a draft law regulates the administrative and the structural affairs for the council.

The supreme judicial council law has been issued with No.112 in2012 .this law organizes the terms and a mechanism of its work by giving the rights to supervise the judiciary and management of council's affairs .In addition, this law candidates judges for appointments and supervision of all prospects with regard to judicial affairs.

this affairs also include administrative aspects with concern with judge's promotion ,assignments and to extend their services .Furthermore, the judicial council has supervision of federal judicial affairs, controlling judicial works and monitoring the implementations of judicial conventions.
