his study attempts to analyze the rôle of culture and colors on Sudanese written advertisements.
The questions are: What is the rôle of culture on advertisement? To what extend do colors impact on the written advertisements? What is the relation between culture and color? The data collected through content analysis which dépends on written resources from Sudan Vision Newspaper, during the year 2009.
The study dépends on textual analysis as a method to collect data from the newspaper and then analyze them as content.
The study came out with these results: Culture has great influence on the advertisement; it motivâtes the background knowledge and information, people of different cultures hâve different thoughts and émotions about certain colors, every color means something to every person; this meaning varies depending on our personal référencés and cultural background, the colors that choose can increase the chance of reaching goals.
The study recommends that: further studies
