Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the reasons for the reluctance of students for vocational and technical school from the viewpoint of his request Balqa Applied University of Jordan and its relationship with some variables, such as race and place of residence, income, and specialization.

The researcher prepared for this purpose consisting questionnaire of 19 vertebra was selected random sample simple, consisting of 200 students, after the data collection and analysis of statistical study found the presence of a high level in the reasons for the reluctance of university students for enrollment of vocational and technical education in Jordanian society as Results showed a lack of and no statistically significant differences at the reasons for the reluctance of university students for vocational education.

The study recommended the development of technical and vocational education programs in line with the economic and social development requirements and the needs of the labor market
