Abstract EN

This paper is intended to analyse Ibn Zaydoun poem “Al-Nouniyya” linguistically: phoneticolly, morphologically and syntactically.

Ibn Zaydoun, an Andalusian poet lived the political and emotional changes in Al-Andalus, all of which were reflected in the poet’s psychology, mentality, language, and style.

As a result he composed this poem through which we analyse the relations between phonetics, morphology, and syntax on the one hand and semantics on the other.

That is we try to relate all these linguistic levels with meaning psychologically embolied inside the poet and the emotional situations he lived through which he expressed his ideology: ideas, values, emotions, views, beliefs, assumptions and expectations.
