Abstract EN

Our study aims to address the topic of guidance and the school board in Algeria, through various legislative and regulatory texts, which describes the practice of psychological counseling in Algerian school, and we have clarified what the school directive has experienced before the occupation (1830-1945), and then discussed the most important transformations and developments in post-independence orientation during the post-independence period (1962-2015), as well as the study of different legislative steps of the Algerian school, and the development of school guidance, and we have dealt with the most important changes and developments encountered by school guidance, pre-independence and postindependence.

And despite the evolution of the multiplicity of laws and reforms, the school counselor suffers from a difficulty on the ground.

Thus it is necessary to work to renew the legislative texts for the system of educational guidance, because the generations in a rapid and rapid evolution.
