The Algerian economy is a rural economy based on the revenues of the hydrocarbons to Achieve the national development.

The sharp fluctuations in oil prices Affected negatively on the Algerian economy, so Priority should be given to other sectors as the tourism sector which is considered as a strategic alternative to the industry.

It must be developed in order to contribute effectively to the development of the national economy by directing small and medium enterprises to invest in this sector through the traditional industries which are considered as distinct industries.

The aim of this study is to highlight the role of Algerian small and medium enterprises in developing the tourism sector In light of the negative effects of low oil prices on the national economy
