The beginning of the second millennium saw the signs of a qualitative change in the field of global energy sources; where indications emerged on the relative change in the occurrence of a global favorite sources for energy.

Talk about the "golden age of gas" has been enhanced with the launch of what might be called the "shale gas revolution" in the United States, especially during the first decade of the millennium, where this revolution has raised doubts about the stability of the global gas markets.

Confusion still surrounds the geopolitical implications of this golden age, especially since these effects are related to the characteristics of the market Kalard and demand, cost and price.

In this study we will shed light on the future effects of the shale gas revolution on the economie of Algeria.
