Tawhidi was not extravagant using rhyme, but he mixed it with duplicity, following the example of his teacher Al Jahidh.

He did not make rhyme an objective for itself, but rather a means to achieve the melody of music in order to acquire and attract the recipient .

Rhyme aesthetic is neither in exaggerating nor in skimping using it, because exaggerating makes the style like the rhyme of soothsayers, and skimping makes the style abandon prose, which becomes closer to scientific prose than to literary prose.
