This research seeks to shed light on the efforts of the most leading countries in the field of establishing legal and institutional framework corporate governance.

The research found that the UK and the USA were the two early in the application of corporate governance by providing a legal and institutional framework.

As well as France and Germany have made visible efforts to adopt the concept of corporate governance through the issuance of reports related to corporate governance, which led to the expansion of the adoption of their companies for this concept, and improve financial performance and management.
