The role of the leader is to manage the crisis at its different stages .Before crisis occurs, the leader analyzes the potential risks, estimate the available resources and elaborate contingency plans to deal with the crisis.

During crisis, the leader and the plans that have been developed will be in a real test; the success in managing the crisis is determined by how much efforts and good planning have been developed before.

After crisis, the leader deals with its effects in such way that he can learn as much as possible from it, can ensure that the organization and its workforce are better prepared for the next crisis.
