Abstract EN

This study deals with an important subject: the presence of the historic element (the history of Andalusia) in the Spanish novel, through an eminent example in the contemporary narrative, worth knowing, the novel "El Maniscrito Carmesi" of Antonio Gala.

The novel has a distinctive view of a memorable event in the Islamic history of civilization, the fall of Grenada, the Kingdom of BENI- EL AHMAR, who precipitated the disappearance of the Arab-Islamic presence in Andalusia.

The fall of its presence was intense in the Arabic and western literature, and its reverberations remained hesitating in numerous texts of poetry and story.

This event was the object of the text mentioned above, by subjecting him to the study applied at the level of the structure and at the level of the reformulation, To follow the diverse narrative and esthetic mechanisms which the author followed in his relations with this important event of the history of Andalusia
