Abstract EN

Based on one of the sources of Islamic law, the Sunnah of the Prophet Mohammed (BPUH), this study highlights the prophetic approach in promoting positive behavior towards the environment and its components.

The first part of the study gives a general overview of the importance given to the environment and the obligation to protect it according to Sunnah.

The second deals with the existence of educational rules and methods in the Prophetic Sunnah that can be used to promote positive behavior towards the environment and its components.

As for the third part, it highlights ‘al- Hisbaah’ (the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice) as a regulatory system of behaviour towards the environment.
