This topic falls within the method of Hadith criticism, notably those methods adopted by the scholars of Hadith and the scholars of jurisprudence.

The study explains the scholars’ definition of the concept of ummah’s (Islamic community) reception of Hadith with acceptance as it contributes to the explanation of the proof of acceptance and the delineation of its meaning.

Despite the fact that the meaning of reception has not been accurately defined, its mechanisms are familiar to critics who agreed on accepting the best part of them.

Scholars do not announce their reception of Hadith with acceptance only after they become certain that it is devoid of what they consider to be invalidating defects.

Hadiths that are received with acceptance are the ones that are mostly used and relied upon.

Reception with acceptance is one of the pillars of criticism and it must not be studied independently of other correlates, as it is tightly related to the soundness and weakness of Hadith
