This study was conducted at 2014 and 2015 to get new correcting factor for hydrometer reading according to different temperature degrees of suspension in mechanical analysis because of presence many correcting factors , two soil samples were selected ( loamy sand and silt loam ) to make the mechanical analysis suspensions , more than 250 hydrometer readings were obtained at different temperature degrees which ranged between 11 – 37 Co , then the relation between difference of temperature degrees that the hydrometer readings were got in it and standard temperature degree ( 20 Co ) with the difference of hydrometer readings at temperature degrees and its reading at ( 20 Co ) , this relation was obtained as a second degree polynomial equation , this equation is Y = 0.0071X2 + 0.2975X + 0.0159 , when Y represents the value of addition to or editing out from hydrometer readings , and X represents the difference between suspension temperature and standard temperature degree (20Co) .

So in general the common degrees of temperature in laboratories are between 15 – 25 Co, in this range , the mean correcting factor in depending on the equation is 0.32 for each temperature degree less or more than 20 Co .

And when the temperature of suspension above 25 Co or less than 15 Co , the above equation can be depended to determine the correcting factor which be recommend to use it instead of another correcting factors .
