Abstract EN

This study deals with, the evaluation of the banking performance of the four banking agencies within three years (2015, 2016, 2017), where we tried to review the concepts related to banking performance and methods of measurement as well as answer the problem posed by the level of performance of banking agencies in terms of profitability and risk, the most important results of the study were that the performance evaluation by the banks management allows it to identify deviations, determine the reasons and how to deal with them, and formulate the appropriate policies to increase and improve performance, in contrast, when the performance evaluation of the bank is not carried out under the prevailing market conditions of competition, instability, volatility and crises, this bank may be bankrupt.
