Abstract EN
In front of energy and climatic challenges, the geothermal energy can constitute an alternative to the fossil fuels as well as other renewable energies.
To heat or to refresh themselves locally by means of a clean energy, offered from the ground is an ecological and economic approach.
The groundwater of Hamma Bouziane contains an important hot water tank in 34°C, which confers on this city to be a pioneer in the field of the geothermal district heating in Algeria.
The diagnosis of the individual housing taken as sample in the case of this study reveals that this typology is uncomfortable during both wintry and summery seasons and it is energivore.
The energy consumption is about 200 KWh / Year.
The energy rehabilitation of the built thanks to geothermal low-temperature is possible.
The heating with hot air is suitable, by exploiting the calories of the water, without resorting to heat pumps, by means of a heat exchanger proposed by the author.
The refreshment can be assured by taking advantage of the inertia of the ground during the summer.
The obtained results are very satisfactory for the summer and winter strategy, because the envisaged solutions reveal that the resultant temperature of the internal air can be brought back to 20°C and more.
