The regional economic integration has been at the center of interest of many schoolars since the end of the second world war.
Many regional trade agreement have been set such are the European Union, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the North American Free trade Agreement NAFTA.
Arab countries signed the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) agreement in 1998, one objectives of this free trade area is to ensure a arab food security.
