Andalusia in modern Turkish literature Abstract This article discusses the image of Andalusia in modern Turkish literature written in Arabic script (1839-1928).It provides an overview of the relationship between Ottomans and Andalusia that goes back to the time of mystic sheikh Ibn Arabi.

And it chronicles the subject of Andalusia in the Turkish literature in the so-called period by mentioning the most important writers who talked about Andalusia in their literature writings .

This article examines the causes of the of authoring on Andalusia and its manifestations in their literary works interpreted in the light of historical circumstances that were experienced by the Ottoman Empire.
