Abstract EN

Abd El-Rahman Badawy seeks to publish the existentialism philosophy as widely as possible in both Islamic and Arab worlds through his writings which titles and contents are exuded by individual spirit and present the image of individual who is the core of existentialism.

Badawy focused in his message "Problem of Death" on subjectivity, he said " You cannot deal with death except to the extent of your feeling with personality, loneliness, and freedom because you are the one who dies alone".

The personality of Badawy's theory is related to freedom, whereas no personality when no freedom from two aspects: there's no responsibility when there's no personality, no responsibility when there's no freedom; no personality except with freedom.

If death involves personality, it will also deeply involve freedom, both death and freedom are potentialities, the human potentiality for committing a suicide is the maximum level of freedom, consequently death is the essence of human existence.

Thus, existence meant by Badawy here is the original existence which defines itself through its existence, but time is a key element for that existence.

Time means infinity, infinity expresses nothingness, nothingness is an element of existence since its existence, nothingness or inexistence unifies with existence in one subject which is tension and tension is the characteristic of self-existence.
