Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate thinking common methods among teenagers and reveal the relationship between thinking styles of teenagers and their self appreciation.

To achieve this goal a random sample was selected of New Cairo institutes for science and art male and female students (300 male, 275 female).

It applied to them Sternberg's method of thinking and self appreciation after verifying the validity and reliability.

The conclusion of this study includes: • The more Thinking common method is the legislative method, then pyramidal method then executive method, then chaotic method, while the less thinking method way regional, then conservative, then royal and lastly the local method.

• There are differences in preference of thinking method (Legislative, executive, judicial, and chaotic) in favor of males, and (conservatives, local and regional) in favor of females.

• The existence of correlation between teenagers thinking methods and their self esteem.
